Lavinia Bucur
Lavinia is the current owner/operator and has been a registered nurse for over 18 years. She graduated from Walla Walla University School of Nursing in 2006 with highest honors. She worked for over 14 years in a level 1 trauma hospital, then made the decision to dedicate her time fully to the adult care home she operates. Her experience growing up in an adult care home and having worked in a hospital setting brings a unique perspective into the long-term setting, one that fosters a seamless collaboration between acute and long-term care. Lavinia is also board certified in gerotological nursing (through ANCC) and takes pride in her dedication in delivering high quality care to all the residents under her care. Lavinia is married, and has two boys and loves exploring the outdoors with them.
Rachel Nan
Rachel is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with over 10 years of experience, all in long-term care. Rachel has also grown up in an adult care home and has a passion for providing care to residents and establishing meaningful relationships with residents and their families. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, ice skating and enjoying the outdoors.

What is an adult care home?
Adult foster homes are single-family residences that offer 24-hour care in a home-like setting. Care homes are highly regulated and are licensed by the county. With a maximum of five residents, the care is personalized, and residents report a better sense of well-being and belonging.
Are there any current limitations to services provided?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate the needs of clients who wander or are exit seeking, have behaviors that interfere with operation of the care home, as well as any behaviors that are a threat to the safety of other residents and/or care home staff. We also are not currently able to accommodate residents who need consistent night care.
How do billing and insurance work for your services?
Currently, we are accepting private paying residents. Pricing is dependent on care needs, which is determined after a needs assessment. We work with long-term care insurance on an individual basis. Unfortunately, Medicare does not cover adult care home stays. However, we are willing to work with potential clients on a Medicaid spend down. Please contact us for details.

My mother stayed here for a few months while recovering from surgery and had excellent care. Lavinia helped her to learn how to use her new medical equipment and even printed step-by-step instructions for her to follow when she went home. Residents have private rooms and are checked on several times per day, in addition to visits for medication and meals. It is a very comfortable home and doesn’t seem like a medical facility.

Compassionate, qualified, and very easy-going! Lavinia is a licensed RN who successfully brings professional experience into a relaxing home environment. This is a real family home with school-age children so it's not an institution. But we found it to be a welcome antidote for our father, after we moved him out of a large assisted living & dementia care facility. We appreciate the convenient location and fair pricing. Consider this a lucky find if there's space available for your loved one!
